The Installation Method Of The Grooved Sealing Top

The grooved door and window sealing tops are more strict than the self-adhesive sealing tops. Because the bottom plate and the height of the tops need to match the width and height of the grooves, the proper installation method can better play the role of the tops.

First of all, the sealing tops that match the size of the profile pits must be used during installation. For example, the specifications of the bottom plate of the tops do not match the size of the profile pits, and the tops are difficult to install or the tops are easy to come out of the grooves after installation.

Secondly, the selection of fluff height should be appropriate. After assembly, the fluff of the top should be compressed by 10%~20% of the relative surface. Too high or too low fluff will affect the overall effect of the top seal.

Finally, it should be emphasized that the incisions must be cut evenly when the tops are spliced to ensure the sealing effect when docking. The acceptance of the tops should be emphasized that the acceptance must be random, and the acceptance cannot be waited for after the doors and windows are installed, so as to avoid problems found in time and difficult to replace. During acceptance, firstly check the fit between the top and the opposite surface, too tight or loose is not ideal; secondly, check whether the top is installed firmly, and gently pull the top by hand to see if it can come out of the groove.

Door and window tops do not need special maintenance, but do not damage the fluff with hard objects, and keep the tops clean frequently to ensure their ideal sealing effect.
