With the continuous development and maturation of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) technology, the application field is expanding continuously. In the manufacture of sealing strip raw materials, the previous use of the main raw materials EPDM rubber is also constantly updated and developed. With excellent physical properties and good processability, the new EPDM can control the long chain of molecules, make its vulcanization performance better, and can improve the extrusion speed and product output. New thermoplastic elastomers, such as TPO and TPV, are used in automotive sealing strips more and more. These materials not only have excellent engineering properties of elastomer, but also have excellent properties of plastics, which are convenient for processing and recyclable, and these materials are gradually replacing EPDM products.
